The Corporate Development Associate will report to the CEO and is responsible for providing critical and diverse data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting and analytics to support VeroBlue businesses. This role will help enable strategic planning at the highest levels of the company as well as execution of strategy in areas including corporate development, business case development, pricing, transition economics, new market expansion, and others. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes to analyze and track performance against the strategy. This role will also actively support the presentation of financial and operating analysis to the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Possess strong general business acumen; solid understanding of financial analysis/management, cost analysis, P&L, and budgeting. Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
• Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience including the following:
• Corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, cost modeling, or economic transition services
• Preparing monthly/quarterly reporting packages for Executive Management or investors
• Developing long-term strategic plans
• Meeting challenging timelines with high-quality deliverables
• Redesigning/improving workflows and business processes * Work well under pressure, manage deadlines, and be comfortable executing in fast-paced environment with short timelines
• Synthesize financials and KPI’s in simple business terms and turn conclusions into stories that operators can understand and respond to
• Bring experience with analytics/tools:
• Ability to build and execute analyses/metrics from conceptual requirements and to frame associated recommendations
• SAP’s ERP suite/Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Salesforce.com a plus
• A demonstrated ability to work with large amounts of data and to translate results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving business performance
• Advanced features of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data discovery/business intelligence tools * Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to comfortably engage with and build trust with business partners at higher levels of seniority
• Communicate with a sense of urgency and deliver on time and with quality
• Ability to work well with others and get things done in fast paced, dynamic, global environment
• Bring a high degree of integrity to handle confidential information and/or assignments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) in finance or accounting from a four-year college or university
• CPA, CMA, FRM or MBA candidates are preferred
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years relevant work experience in finance and modeling
