LACQUA17 will be the 2017 Annual meeting of the Latin American & Caribbean Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society (WAS). Following upon the previous successful LACQUA meetings, LACQUA will bring international attention to the aquaculture industry of Mexico and South America. The WAS Regional Meeting, SOUTH AMERICAN REGIONAL AQUACULTURE 2017 will join with LACQUA17. LACQUA17 will be held at the Mazatlan, International Center, Mazatlan, Mexico, 7-10 November 2017. Mazatlan, a beautiful tourist location, is perfectly located, close to the shrimp industry and easy to reach with many national and international flights.

Abstracts can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Submission open soon. The conference indeed includes three languages. Oral and poster presentation in Spanish, Portuguese and English are possible. The conference will include all major aquatic species cultured in Mexico and the other LACC countries with a special focus on Shrimp, Bagre, Tilapia, Shellfish.
