The National Aquaculture Extension Conference will be held in Boise, Idaho, on 5-9 June 2017. The conference is co-sponsored by the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture’s (NIFA) five Regional Aquaculture Centers and the NOAA National Sea Grant Program. Held approximately every five years since 1992, this unique conference has provided a forum for professional development and growth for all levels of experience and years of service in aquaculture extension education.

As with the last conference held in Memphis, there will be plenary and technical sessions relating to emerging issues in aquaculture extension, professional development opportunities, integrated grant proposal submission opportunities and training, and presentations on extension methods and other topics. The conference program will be developed for organizations and individuals who have extension education and outreach responsibilities for the diversity of species and disciplines associated with US aquaculture Conference registration is $100 and includes an opening night reception, three continental breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner.
