Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the feeds production lines in a safe an efficient manner
• Weigh, measure and prepare ingredients
• Manage product transfer from one piece of production equipment another in the process
• Manufacture Aquaculture Feeds to specifications from the Company
• Weigh, measure, package, and stage orders for delivery
• Using variety of packaging and shipping media of varying styles, shapes, weights, and applications
• Forklift operation, including Walkie-Stacker®

Qualifications:

• Ability to:
  • lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
  • Short-term: transport feeds upstairs in barrels of up to 75 pounds each
  • Frequent climbing of stairs
  • Ability to stand at work station for extended periods of time
• Be able to read and understand basic instructions and weights and measures in English
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with or without the use of a calculator, including measures of weight in both Metric and Standard increments
• Minimum of 2+ years in a production-based environment
• Verifiable experience in food, vitamin, and/or feeds formulation and mixing a major plus
• 5S and Lean Manufacturing experience highly-preferred
• Must possess a high mechanical aptitude for production equipment and basic production equipment maintenance and care
